中共在香港強推國安法，其含義、作用，堪比31年前在北京發生的六四事件: 用武力、國家權力消滅民主訴求，承襲中國曆朝歷代封建帝王殘忍之手段，肆無忌憚地逆歷史潮流而動。沒想到，時隔三十一年，一生能看到這樣的惡行兩次。

近日，香港開始抓人。中共的近期目標就是取消民主派人士立法會選舉候選人資格，將香港立法會變成中國的人大 ，搞成選舉全票同意制。中共的遠期目標，則是把 “紅旗” 插遍全球, 就是 搞 “人類命運共同體”, 就是我們正經歷的這個來自中共管制下的中國的冠狀病毒的樣子。

那麼，有良知的海外華人個人能做什麼？想來想去，感覺面對強大的中共滲透，我們的選項很有限，但有一項或許可以一試，那就是抓緊給自己的國會議員寫信，要求速組超黨派議員聯盟，向香港派出觀察團，同時請求聯合國有關機構協調，以防中共阻撓。當然，中共必阻撓無疑。

為此，我昨天給我的國會議員發了郵件，內容如下，僅供參考。但我忘了提 請求聯合國協調一事，好在議員們會有更多智慧。

Dear Mr. Kenny Chiu,

I am an old man and my name is XXX, living in Richmond XXX area, and I voted for you in the last election (two years ago?). I notice the terrible situation currently occurring in Hong Kong after the Chinese Communist Party enacted Hong Kong Security Law. And today I hear that Hong Kong authority is arresting democratic party members in Hong Kong, aiming to disrupt and disqualify them for the coming MLA election candidacy.

I strongly ask that you and all other MPs immediately form some bipartisan alliance and send some group to Hong Kong for observation, along with some other countries. Protect and promote democracy is everyone’s duty. Kindly consider and respond.
