South Korea economy has a key weakness: very high debt leverage. It is higher than what US was before 2008 crisis, according to the McKinsey report. The debt continue to climb high, not at the brink of collapse, but highly vulnerable. It is fine if the economy grows faster than debt increase. But, when the music stops, watch out. |
