印度2019年教育经费是138亿美元，占印度GDP0.5%， 中国教育经费2018年是5280亿美元，占GDP4.11%。  是印度教育经费的38倍。

但是军费，中国只是印度的3倍。中国军费1775亿美元，占GDP1.25%， 印度464亿美元， 是印度教育经费的3.36倍。而中国的教育经费是军费的3倍。

究其原因，其中一个就是印度的所谓世界最大民主，政府要在5年里拿出成绩，投资教育，5年里看不出来什么成绩（尤其是印度，印度不重视基础教育，着重点是几所“要成为印度哈佛”的精英大学）而花钱在军费上则可以在短期内进口大量的先进武器造成一种虚假的印度强大的幻象。

教育是一个国家的未来。对于印度政府来说，让下届去操心吧。

India's budget for education of 2019 is $13.8 billion, or 0.5% of India's GDP, vs China's budget for education in 2018 is $528 billion, or 4.11% of China's GDP. or it is 528/13.8=38.26, ie. China spend on education is 38 times of India'sEducation is the future of a country.however, when compare to defense budget, China is only 3 times of India's,  China's defense budget is about 1.25% of its GDP  $177.5 billion.  compare India's defense budget Rs 3.18 lakh crore. or  $46.4 billion, 46.4/13.8=3.36, India  spend on military is 3.36 times more than on its education, compare to China, on the contrast, 528/177.5=2.9746478873  China spend 3 times more money on education than on its military.one reason for this is due to India 's world largest democracy, under this system, people judge the government by what they did on the 5 yrs. for education,  not really easy to see the results, but for the 5 yrs, you can use a lots of money to import expensive very advanced weapons to make a fake strong image to show Indian people to say how good and how powerful this government is .  :))as for the education, or the future of India?? who cares, let future government to worry.
