exact number. However, during the whole of Korean war, Chinese was never able to field more than 3 air dividsions and no more than 500 aircraft at any one time in the Korean theater. On the side of the US, just the FEAF alone, not accounting for the Naval air and USMC air wings, had field force of more than 1400 of combat aircrafts at any one time. If you look at its sorties and casualties numbers, one can hardly conclude that there were even match in the air.
