1. Democracy in India determined that not the most intelligent Indian will lead the country since majorities of Indian are not very intelligent (no offense, this applies to all the countries, due to intelligence in a country is a normal distribution, very smart ones will be the minority, majorities are not, but democracy determined that only majorities will decide, or not very intelligent people will decide.)

2. the core of capitalism is everyone work for his/her own happiness, country/state is secondary. and the bottom nature is individualism/selfishness, the above 2 reasons determined India will not be a superpower (1. no intelligent people leading, 2. everyone work for his/her own, not for the country) US is showing the symptoms too, but due to very rich resources and very high above average intelligent and education level, make this process slow showing but definitely showing.

1 and 2 have no future

for example, if a very intelligent Indian said, " India should not treat China as its enemy, should not have anti-China policy, but make friend with China and joined BRI for win-win and should concentrate on economy development, ", however, majorities of Indians will not realize what he said is good for India, but believe he is  only a China dog and traitor for India, so he would never be elected to lead India, therefore, if  a person want to be elected in India, he must follow majorities of Indians will (does not matter if their wills are correct or not, intelligent or foolish).  Such cases  happened already in 1962, but something just never change, this is the fate of India, nobody can change it.also we can predict based on the reasons of above, India has no hope, no future.
