my understanding has been that CVA had never achieved parity in firepower with that of the US arm forces in Korean war. Even toward the end of the conflict when the preponderance of the US firepower is no longer overwhelming as it was during the onset, CVA was still not quite on par with that of US. I remember reading a book stating that artillary equipment of a Chinese Corp can only compared to that a US division. Airpower parity? I am not convinced.
