The third Geneva convention stipulates the treatment of prisoner of war. The POW has been defined in the article 4 and 5 under the treatment of POW(redefined in 1949). The violation of the which is liable to the prosecution of war crime. All signers of the Geneva convention will abide and enforce its compliance. |
