China and US can cooperate in the fight against terrorism, as they have done so from the start of the US war against terro in Afghanistan. Such Sino-US cooperation includes exchange of intelligence information as well as the support in UN and other international arena for the fight against terrorism. As a responsible world power and a permanent member of the UN Security Council, China will take actions, as it deems appropriate, to contribute to the joint effort in the fight against terrorism , instead of doing lip service only. It is true that China does not always see eye to eye with the US in the fight against terrorism. As a matter of fact, China does have strong objections to some of the wrongdoings by the US, e.g. the refusal to hand over those Chinese Uigur terrorists captured in Afghanistan. Nonetheless, bilateral cooperation between China and US can still prevail over their differences. To put it mildly, the US call on China to open a supply route throug Wakhan Corridor deserves a serious consideration by China, regardless what the final decision will be.
My two cents.
