Did the revolution brought any technology, which is the key to improve living standard of a nation? The answer is no. It only brought social mess and narrow nationlism, which made China fell into pieces. 

Qing Dynasty had started a broad concept of chinese nationlism. China is a new china since then, and all nations in the land united together, but the revolution brought ugly and narrow nationlism. That is why Guming Tang is never able to lead China.
