@Jothis Thankachan you should know better , it is just different strategy from Russian, they have plenty experience, Stealthy theory was from Russia. As for Russian, same as for India, defense, unlike USA invade other country, is the first priority. nowadays, there are so many way of detecting so called "stealthy" fighters, you may go radar stealthy, but you cannot hide heat signature easily. Even F22 can detect Su-57 in long distance, however, immediately F22 fires BVR missile, Su-57 will get noticed, for Su-57, it is not difficult to run away from long distance missile attack, at the same time F22 exposed its position and will be attacked if not by radar guided missile but will be by heat seeker missiles or even visual guided missile (Su-57 has very good visual targeting system). then the question will be in the medium to visual range, at this stage, there is no advantage of F22 to Su-57 anymore, good heat seeker missile will work better with Su-57. all of the features are very good for IAF, luckily, as always, India made another crucial mistake. this mistake makes India lost the chance of becoming a 5th g fighter country in any foreseeable future. This mistake let India lost a chance to learn all the new techs from Su-57, this mistakes let PLA have more time to work on upgrading J-20 and work on 6th G fighter. Rafale is not stealthy, its RCS with 6 missiles is 10, SPECTRA will only reduce 20%, that is still 8, no matter how much turn it can do , 9 g, 10 g, does not matter, air-air missile can do 30-40g turn easily. and Rafale is so much more expensive than Su-57 too. this and many other things show that Indians do not have ability of deep thinking, they can see very shallow, very short sighted. this inability makes them made lots of wrong decisions. please keep this habit, and go on.
