where is your mark 2, only on paper right??
can you make carbon fiber, no you cannot, your carbon fiber is imported from USA,
can you make radar for Mark 2? again you cannot, it will be from Israel
can you make engine for Mark 2? no, again and again it will be GE 414.
“According to CAG report (2012) LCA is 37% indigenous
because
1)engine GE404
2)AESA radar (Israeli)
3) missiles (Russia and Israel)
And many more small parts.
Summing up these makes LCA 37% Indigenous.
“
your Tejas now sells to IAF for $83 million each, almost as same as the price USAF to pay for LM for F35 , and China got Su 35 for only $80 million each, is your Tejas better than Su-35 or your Mark 2 better than F35??
hah :))
with this price for Tejas now, IAF wont even place order for 83 Tejas,
do you know why IAF will not buy Tejas?? 1st of all, IAF knows it is junk. 2ndly, IAF has no money for it. IAF does not have enough money even pays for 36 Rafale.
India this year only got $42 billion in military budget, half for pensions, only $21 billion left for army, navy and airforce, each only get about $7 billion, 36 Rafale alone cost $8.6 billion. HAL asked $7 Billion for 83 Tejas, go figure yourself.
what so good about carbon fiber?? why IN wont order Tejas for navy instead claim it is too heavy even as you said it got so much carbon fiber?? Do you know it is very difficult to find damages in carbon fiber?? if you can find it ,what can you do?? you cannot repair it, but need to replace the whole thing.
unlike India, China now has the ability to make military grade carbon fiber T800 and widely used in Chinese fighters such as in J20.
difference is that we do not need to import it from US, we can readily replace the damage ones and will not cost so much as it would be in India.
when your Mark 2 will come out?? in 35 yrs??
hah :))
only after it comes out, then you can boast what it can do
