It has traditional water way into Mexico. US had completely dammed up the water so that not a drop of water flew to Mexican side of the Colorado river until 2014 when in accordance to US-Mexico Water Pact, US agreed to open up its dam to allow some water to go to Mexico first time in 60 years.
