The ARJ21: Advanced Regional Jet being built for AVIC I Commercial Aircraft Company (ACAC) will be equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. Safe Flight’s new integrated sensor/ computer airflow angle system will provide accurate and reliable Stall Warning, Stick Pusher and AoA for the Part 25 transport category aircraft.
As an integrated package, the system offers significant reduction in weight, volume, installation time and maintenance costs. Combining Safe Flight’s integrated AoA sensors and the latest technology displays, the ARJ21 with Pro Line 21 avionics is a true breakthrough in flight deck efficiency and pilot workload reduction.
The 79- to 99-seat aircraft is designed to meet the demanding conditions of 21st century flight and is forecasted to produce 500 units globally. The concept, first unveiled at the 2001 Beijing Air Show is expected to yield a completed prototype equipped with Safe Flight’s Integrated
AoA system ready to fly by mid-2006.
