Iran could have chosen to surrender to the US
in exchange for lifting sanctions.
But for more than half a century, it has not.
That kind of persistence reflects a deep commitment
to its ideology and independence. Few nations
have endured such prolonged pressure and still
refused to compromise their core principles.
Even during periods of de-escalation or ceasefire,
Iran has not abandoned its brothers and sistersin Lebanon,
continuing to show loyalty to those it considers
part of its broader regional community.
Whether one agrees or disagrees with its politics,
the resilience, loyalty, and
determination of the Iranian people command respect.
