yer again American trade supremacists have hurt themselves with sanctions and weaponization of dollar.  they forced the largest manufactering and indistrial powerhouse on earth (larger than USA, Europe and Japan COMBINED) to do what no other phone manufacturer can do--not Apple, not Samsung:  rely 100% on domestic tech and supply.  This new phone is NOT subject to sanctions. It has nothing to do with Google.It has nothing to do with TSMC.It has nothing to do with any western semiconductor tool manufacturer.It has nothing to do with any Taiwan/South Korea/Japan/U.S. parts or material suppliers. It has nothing to do with U.S. patents. Literally NO OTHER mobile phone manufacturer on earth can achieve that currently. it has nothing to do with the United States at all, and it is completely outside the scope of sanctions. This is a historic first. and the icing on the cake? well: The comprehensive sanctions on Huawei have cut off its dependence on foreign suppliers who THEMSELVES are now vulnerable to U.S. sanctions, and forced Huawei to establish a full supply chain that can ONLY be carried out domestically, which allows it to withstand sanctions without losing its livelihood. The existence of this completely independent supply chain (including non-Swift financing) is a nightmare for Gina Raimondo and her US Department of Commerce.
