Cisco Systems (CSCO) this afternoon reported fiscal Q1 revenue and earnings per share that surpassed analysts’ estimates. Revenue in the three months ended in October rose 6%, year over year, to $11.9 billion, yielding EPS of 48 cents, excluding some costs. Analysts had been modeling $11.78 billion and 46 cents. Cisco will host a conference call with analysts at 4:30 pm, Eastern time, and you can catch the webcast of it here. Cisco shares are up 18 cents, or 1%, at $17.03 in late trading.
