This song is a very famous Cuban 'criolla-bolero' (zarzuela). Music by Gonzalo Roig and lyrics by Agustin Rodriguez. This song was later recorded in English - lyrics by Jack Sherr under the title "Yours". Placido Domingo interprets this song wonderfully. He is of course from "la madre patria" - Spain.
