It is obvious that the money-driven western democracy is no use in China since it would make thing worse. On this stand I think a genuine one-party system is, if doing rightly, effective and applcable, like you said.
But if we treat it as a "business" of service, we must first ask whom this business serves?
Mao's assertion of "serving the people" is basically a "business" in the broad sense, not "serving my own pocket", the eother way around.
So for an effective and efficient, non-corruptive one-party system it must hold up its core phiosophy, nontheless ideology.
The current one-pary system in China not only, thanks to Deng, has long given up the ideoogy of "serving the people" but gradually turn the entire country into a chaos of "serving my own pocket first".
I just don;'t see a country under this could survive anylonger without draggging its people into a big shit hole and sunk!
