ndia should totally give up AMCA since India has no ability of making it or it will be just wasting money and will be useless against J20.

1. India has no engine for it, needs to buy from other countries, only one available is GE 414, not good enough for a 5th fighter, no able to push AMCA to super cruise.

2. India has no experience of making a stealthy fighter, difficult to design, not as simple as just copy the photo from other country,

3. India has no experiences on design FBW system to fly a stealthy fighter, totally different from FBW for a 3rd or 4th G fighter, Tejas FBW was mainly the work of French. for AMCA, no french will be able to help since they do not have stealthy fighter either, by Indians themselves, it is impossible.   One example is Tejas, the max speed for it cannot pass M1.6, or FBW will not work or the jet will get dismantled in the air.

4. India has no ability of making a good AESA radar for AMCA, needs to import from Israel, all Israel electronic device has back door, make great risk of leaking info to other countries even to China.

5. India has no good long range missile for AMCA, Astra is not good enough,  it cannot use Meteor either.

6. India is famously weak in material science and production, even for Su-30 MKI, India needs to import over 1500 raw materials and parts from Russia directly for assemble Su-30 MKI in India, for AMCA, the needs for high quality materials are more demanding, India industry simply cannot provide.
