PLA Navy memorized the death during the Sino-Japanese War in 1894-1895. China was defeat in that war and more than 60,000 soliders of Qing Dynasty were killed. The whole North Marine Navy was almost destroied. China compensated a huge amount of money and lost Taiwan to Japan. It's regarded as a National Humiliation. This year is the 120th anniversary of the War.
